Roof repair

Fast, honest roof repair

A small leak or a few lifted shingles doesn't always mean a new roof. We diagnose the real problem with photos, give you a written scope, and fix only what needs fixing — across Jasper and North Georgia.

What we fix

Common roof repairs, sorted by what's actually wrong

Most calls come down to a handful of issues. Here's what we see most often and how we approach each one — every finding is shown to you in photos, not just described.

Roof leaks

The classic ceiling stain. We trace water back to the true entry point — which is often nowhere near the drip inside — and seal the source, not just the symptom.

Lifted or missing shingles

Wind can curl, crack, or peel shingles off entirely. We replace affected courses and check the field around them so the new shingles seat and seal correctly.

Flashing & penetrations

Chimneys, vents, skylights and valleys are where most leaks start. We re-seal or replace failed flashing and boots around every roof penetration.

Gutter repair

Sagging, separated or clogged gutters push water back under the roof edge. We re-secure, re-pitch, and re-seal so runoff goes where it should.

Ventilation

Poor attic airflow bakes shingles from below and traps moisture. We check ridge and soffit ventilation and correct what's choking the system.

Ridge & cap

The ridge takes the worst of the weather. We replace cracked or blown-off ridge caps and reseat the ridge so the peak of the roof stays watertight.

Repair or replace?

We'll tell you straight which one you need

A repair is the right call far more often than people expect. But there's a point where patching good money onto a worn-out roof stops making sense — and we'll say so.

Lean toward repair when:

  • The damage is localized — one slope, one valley, or a single area around a vent or chimney.
  • The roof is still within a reasonable portion of its service life and the rest of the field is sound.
  • Matching shingles are still available so the repair blends in.

Start thinking replacement when:

  • Leaks keep returning in different spots, or there's widespread granule loss and brittleness.
  • The deck or underlayment is compromised, not just the surface.
  • The roof is near the end of its life and repairs would just keep stacking up.

Diagnose with photos

We get on the roof, find the true source of the problem, and show you the damage in clear photos.

Written scope & price

You get the fix, the materials, and the cost in writing — so you can decide with the full picture in front of you.

Repair & clean up

Our crew completes the repair, checks the surrounding area, sweeps for nails, and hauls away the debris.

Storm or hail damage? If a recent storm is behind the leak or the missing shingles, the repair may be tied to an insurance claim — and how it's documented matters.

We photograph storm-related damage the way adjusters expect and can support your claim from inspection through paperwork. We document and support claims; we are not an insurance company and cannot guarantee claim approval or payout.

Repair questions

Roof repair, answered plainly

The questions homeowners ask us most about getting a roof fixed.

We schedule as quickly as we can and can often get to repairs the same week, depending on the season and how full the calendar is. Call us and we'll give you a real, honest timeframe for your situation rather than a generic promise.

Water rarely enters where it shows up inside — it travels along the deck and framing before it drips. We inspect the roof above and around the stain, check every nearby penetration and flashing detail, and trace the path back to the actual entry point so the fix holds.

We do our best to match the existing shingles in color and profile, and on most roofs that are still in good shape the repair blends in well. On older roofs the original shingle may be discontinued or weathered, so a perfect match isn't always possible — we'll tell you up front what to expect.

Often, yes — a targeted repair can buy years on a roof that's otherwise sound. But if the field is brittle, leaks keep returning, or the deck is involved, we'll be honest that repairs would just keep stacking up and walk you through replacement instead. We won't sell you a roof you don't need.

We stand behind our workmanship, and we'll put the specific terms that apply to your repair in writing before we start. We don't quote blanket warranty lengths here — ask us and we'll confirm exactly what's covered for your job.
